Swinney to push for second Scottish independence vote before 2031
Scottish First Minister and SNP leader John Swinney will address members in Aberdeen on Saturday to make the case for a second vote on whether Scotland should leave the UK. He wants a vote before 2031 and has announced the biggest pro-independence campaign since the 2014 referendum. Prime Minister Andy Burnham says there is "no clear consensus" for another vote.
