Manchester Mayor Pledges £2m to Expand Rehearsal Space

Manchester Mayor Bev Craig pledged £2m to help Greater Manchester artists find rehearsal and production space. She announced it at Beyond the Music's AI summit in MediaCity, Salford. It adds to a £4m Culture Fund investment earlier in October 2026. Lasting access for emerging acts will depend on delivery across the city-region.
