Manchester Mayor Pledges £2m for Artists' Rehearsal Space

Manchester Mayor Bev Craig pledged £2m to nurture Greater Manchester artists by improving access to rehearsal and production space. She addressed Beyond the Music's AI summit at MediaCity, Salford. The pledge is additional to a £4m Culture Fund investment from earlier in October 2026. Whether emerging acts gain lasting access will depend on delivery across the city-region.
