Streeting says UK opposes Trump-Putin diesel deal

Defence Secretary Wes Streeting said Britain does not back Donald Trump's plan with Vladimir Putin for the US to buy Russian diesel. He told BBC Radio 4's Broadcasting House that allies should put more pressure on Russia to shorten the war. President Zelensky said the deal would pay for Moscow's weapons; Mr Trump said it would lower US fuel prices.
