Pediatricians Push Again for Raw Milk Ban Amid Bird Flu Risk

America's largest pediatricians' group renewed its call for a nationwide ban on unpasteurized milk sales last week. The American Academy of Pediatrics, in an updated policy statement, pointed to emerging H5N1 bird flu risk. Interstate raw milk sales have been banned federally since 1987, but states still set their own rules on sales within their borders.
