Small AI studios can own original IP, ex-ILM veteran tells Busan

VFX veteran Hong Jae Cheol told creators at Busan that small AI-native studios running automated pipelines can develop and own original intellectual property, the characters and worlds behind sequels, rather than work for hire, according to Variety.
