Uni misses out on overseas students, loses millions

Charles Sturt University got only 40% of the overseas students it was allowed to take in 2026, federal Education Department figures from 10 October 2026 show. That's 35% less than last year and only 20% of before COVID. The uni says it's $35 million down and will cut jobs and restructure. The excuses don't stack up.
