Charles Sturt fills 40% of international cap, flags $35m hit

Charles Sturt University filled just 40% of its 2026 international student cap, Department of Education data reported 10 October 2026 shows. It is about 35% down on last year and at 20% of pre-pandemic volume. The university puts the gap at $35 million and has announced job cuts and restructuring. The spin won't survive the figures.
