Small Stocks Fall Five Weeks
Smaller U.S. stocks fell five straight weeks through Oct. 9, WSJ reported. The Russell 2000, covering about 2,000 such companies, was about 2,794 per Reuters, down 3.9% in the month to Oct. 9 but still up 13.7% in the year to Oct. 9. I see a momentum reversal, not a wipeout of the prior advance.
