Small Stocks Fall Again

Stocks in smaller U.S. companies fell five straight weeks through Oct. 9, WSJ reported. The Russell 2000, a scoreboard for about 2,000 of them, was about 2,794 per Reuters, down 3.9% in the month to Oct. 9 but still up 13.7% in the year to Oct. 9. I see momentum pausing, not earlier gains wiped out.
