Russell 2000 Falls Five Weeks in a Row

The Russell 2000, which tracks about 2,000 smaller U.S. companies, has fallen for five straight weeks through Oct. 9, WSJ reported. Reuters data put the index at about 2,794, down 3.9% in the month to Oct. 9 but still up 13.7% in the year to Oct. 9. I see a momentum reversal, not a wipeout of the prior advance.
