U.S. Sanctions International Criminal Court, Bans Dealings

The U.S. State Department said Oct. 9, 2026 it is sanctioning the International Criminal Court in The Hague and will ban transactions, or financial and other dealings, with it. The designation falls under section 1(a)(ii)(A) of Executive Order 14203. The department said the United States never joined the court.
