Hegseth Sets 3 December Firing-Squad Execution for Fort Hood Shooter, to Be Livestreamed

U.S. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said former Army psychiatrist Nidal Malik Hasan will be executed — put to death — by firing squad, a team of shooters, on 3 December. Officials confirmed it will be livestreamed, shown live online. Hasan was sentenced to death for killing 13 people at Fort Hood in 2009.
