AMD to bring FSR 4 to laptops, handhelds and APUs by late 2026

AMD plans to expand FSR 4, its machine-learning tool that sharpens games by upscaling lower-resolution images, beyond its desktop-only discrete RX 9000 cards. Computing and Graphics chief Jack Huynh told The Elec it will reach APUs — chips combining processor and graphics — plus gaming laptops and handhelds by end of 2026, covering existing APUs and new chips.
