Anthropic Launches Free Security Scanner for Open-Source Projects

Anthropic has launched OSS Scanner, part of its Cyber Mission initiative. Open-source projects — publicly shared code anyone can use — can opt in for free, thorough security checks run on a regular schedule. Reports are written entirely by its most capable AI models, including Claude Mythos, with no human review or triage.
