Hande Erçel to lead Germany-set drama Diaspora as Merve

Hande Erçel will star as Merve, an educated Turkish widow rebuilding her life in Germany with her 12-year-old son, in Diaspora, Deadline reported on 8 October. The film shoots entirely in Berlin in early 2027 in German, English and Turkish, according to the same report.
