USS Abraham Lincoln to Dock in San Diego After Nearly Year Supporting Iran War

USS Abraham Lincoln is scheduled to dock in San Diego on October 8, 2026, ending a nearly year-long deployment with about 5,000 aboard. The carrier left in November 2025 for the Pacific, then redirected to the Middle East after the U.S. and Israel launched war with Iran in February 2026. It remained until relieved in late August.
