
Big U.S. Navy Ship Comes Home After Almost a Year Away
The U.S. Navy ship USS Abraham Lincoln is set to return to San Diego on Oct. 8, 2026, ending almost a year at sea with about 5,000 crew. It left for the Pacific in November 2025, then moved to the Middle East after the U.S. and Israel started war with Iran in February 2026, staying until replaced in late August.
