National promises extra $604m for Pharmac, funded by aid cut

National has promised another $604 million to lift Pharmac's buying power for new medicines, RNZ reported. The party says it would pay for it by cutting foreign aid, to fund medicines and cancer screening. The Pharmac role sits with coalition partner ACT leader David Seymour as associate health minister.
