National promises $604m for medicines, paid for by aid cut

National has promised a further $604 million to increase Pharmac's buying power for new medicines, according to RNZ. The party said the money would come from cutting foreign aid to fund medicines and cancer screening. The Pharmac portfolio sits with coalition partner ACT leader David Seymour as associate health minister.
