Media Coalition wins inaugural IPA Freedom of Expression Defenders Award in Frankfurt

The Media Coalition has won the inaugural IPA Freedom of Expression Defenders Award at the 2026 Frankfurter Buchmesse. Presented by the International Publishers Association, the prize recognises defence of freedom of expression, freedom to publish and freedom to read. The United States-based organisation, founded in 1973, was nominated by the Association of American Publishers. Its executive director is David Horowitz.
