
Collectors aged 20 to 29 outspent all older generations on art in 2025
Collectors aged 20 to 29 spent an average of US$347,460 on fine art in 2025, more than twice any older generation, the Art Basel and UBS Survey of Global Collecting found. The poll of 3,100 high-net-worth individuals, by Arts Economics in Oxford for Art Basel in Basel and UBS in Zurich, defines Gen Z as 20 to 29.
