Japan Probes Big Four Brewers Over Suspected Price-Fixing

Japan's Fair Trade Commission raided offices of Asahi, Kirin, Suntory Beer and Sapporo over suspected price collusion on beer and other drinks. Together the four hold over 90% of Japan's beer market. Official Hiroo Iwanari confirmed the probe; the companies say they will cooperate. Price-fixing by rivals is banned under Japan's anti-monopoly law.
