Google, Meta Fund $300M Biohub AI Biology Data Push

Google DeepMind, Meta and Isomorphic Labs are putting $300 million into Biohub, the Zuckerberg-Chan nonprofit. The money is part of a $1.8 billion effort to build AI training data for biology, aimed at a predictive virtual cell, a computer model that simulates how cells behave in disease.
