Tech Groups Give $300M to Model Cells on Computers

Google DeepMind, Meta and Isomorphic Labs are giving $300 million to Biohub, the nonprofit started by Zuckerberg and Chan. It is part of a $1.8 billion plan to gather biological information to train computers to build a virtual cell, like a flight simulator for studying disease.
