Pixar takes $40.1m, largest award in California credit round

Disney's Pixar will receive $40.1 million in California tax credits for an untitled film, the largest of 35 awards totalling $226 million, Variety reported on 7 October 2026. Disney will receive another $30 million for two further untitled projects in the same California Film Commission round, Variety reported.
