Google Opens SynthID Detector, Its AI Watermark Checker

Google has opened its SynthID Detector at synthid.com to everyone, following limited testing with journalists and researchers. The portal checks images, video and audio for SynthID watermarks — hidden markers of AI origin — across JPG, PNG, MP4, MOV, MP3 and WAV. Models Nano Banana, Veo and Lyria add these marks.
