Princeton reunites Basquiat's eleven 1984 Blue Ribbon paintings

Eleven 1984 Blue Ribbon paintings by Jean-Michel Basquiat hang together at the Princeton University Art Museum in Princeton, New Jersey, ARTnews reported October 7, 2026. The museum says the eleven works combine acrylic paint, oil stick and screenprint, ink pushed through a stencilled mesh, and anchor 'Basquiat, the Blue Ribbon Paintings, and the Art of Reproduction.'
