Royal Mail Plans 2,500 Head-Office Job Cuts by 2027
Royal Mail will cut up to 2,500 head office and support jobs by end of 2027, leaving delivery and processing staff untouched. The reduction — under 2% of its 131,000 workers — will come from natural departures and voluntary exits, with no forced layoffs. The company points to letter volumes down more than 70% since their mid-2000s peak.
