Publishers urge US Supreme Court to overturn global termination ruling

Capitol CMG, Essential Music Publishing, Warner-Tamerlane Publishing and BMG Rights Management asked the US Supreme Court to reverse the Fifth Circuit's January 12 Vetter ruling that US termination returns rights worldwide. Their September 30 reply brief says the decision upends cross-border copyright practice. Vetter opposed review on September 14.
