Police motorbike hits two riders at Tre Valli Varesine

Two Pinarello Q36.5 riders, Thomas Gloag and Marcel Camprubi, were hit by a police convoy motorbike riding against the peloton — the main pack — at Tre Valli Varesine in Italy. The crash came with six laps of the finishing circuit left. Gloag abandoned with a knee cut needing stitches. Camprubi remounted and finished last.
