France's 10-year yield holds at 4.865%, near 24-year high
France's 10-year borrowing cost settled at 4.865% on Oct. 6 after hitting 4.925% during the day, little changed from Friday and near a 24-year high, the Wall Street Journal reported. Yield is the annual return investors demand. At these levels Paris pays more to borrow, pressure that can reach households through loans and mortgages.
