Arcadia Couple Charged With Abusing 14 Surrogate-Born Children

Prosecutors charge Guojun Xuan, 66, and Silvia Shasha Zhang, 39, with abusing at least 14 surrogate-born children at their Arcadia mansion. The couple ran their own surrogacy company and pleaded not guilty in Pasadena. They are accused of conspiracy and repeated physical abuse. Xuan faces up to 17 years if convicted.
