Malaysia Reports 10,000 Returns to Myanmar

About 10,000 people have been sent from Malaysia to Myanmar since January, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim told parliament Oct. 6. Some flew on Myanmar government planes, and nearly 1,500 returned by sea last week under a bilateral deal between the two countries. Myanmar assured returnees would not be harmed.
