Malaysia Sends About 10,000 People Back to Myanmar

Malaysia has sent about 10,000 people back to Myanmar since January, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim told lawmakers Oct. 6. Some flew on planes arranged by Myanmar, and nearly 1,500 came by sea last week under a deal between the two countries. Myanmar promised those returning would not be hurt.
