Fourteen leaders head to Tuvalu for pre-COP talks
Fourteen national leaders will go to Tuvalu on Tuesday for the pre-COP Leaders' event, the Australian government says. Only two are from outside the Pacific — Timor-Leste's Jose Ramos-Horta and Mauritius' Navin Ramgoolam. Canberra invited them to the low-lying atoll nation ahead of COP31, the global climate talks. I've seen bigger turnouts for Senate estimates.
