Fourteen leaders meet on tiny island Tuvalu before climate talks

Fourteen national leaders will meet in Tuvalu on Tuesday for the pre-COP Leaders' event, a warm-up before COP31, the world's big climate meeting. The government says only two are from outside the Pacific: Timor-Leste's Jose Ramos-Horta and Mauritius' Navin Ramgoolam. Canberra invited them to the tiny, low island nation. I've seen bigger crowds at Senate estimates.
