
Psiphon may leave Canada over Bill C-22
Toronto-based Psiphon told The Globe and Mail it has begun planning to move operations out of Canada if Bill C-22 passes unchanged. The company, whose anti-censorship tool has about 20 million monthly users worldwide, says the lawful-access bill, which would expand police access to online data, would force it to weaken safety protections for users in authoritarian countries.
