Apple Plans Lighter Touchscreen OLED MacBook Pro

Apple's next touchscreen OLED MacBook Pro will be significantly lighter than today's 14-inch and 16-inch models, which run from 3.4 to 4.7 pounds, Engadget reports, citing Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. Apple is shrinking internal components — OLED is a thinner, more efficient screen type — and redesigning the layout to cut weight.
