
Google pauses open-source bug bounty after surge of invalid AI reports
Google has paused its open-source security rewards program, which pays researchers for reporting software flaws, effective October 1. The company cited a sharp rise in automated, AI-generated submissions, mostly invalid. Affected researchers were directed to its other bug bounty programs.
