Apple's upcoming touchscreen OLED MacBook Pro is reported to be "significantly lighter" than current 14-inch and 16-inch models, which start at 3.4 pounds and reach 4.7 pounds. Engadget, citing Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, says Apple is miniaturizing parts and rearranging interiors to cut mass.
