West Coast-Tasman to elect new MP

West Coast-Tasman will elect a new MP at the November election, RNZ reports. National's Maureen Pugh is retiring. Labour's Damien O'Connor, an MP for 33 years, will not stand in the seat. He held the electorate, the voting area, since its creation in 1996, apart from terms won by National's Chris Auchinvole and Pugh.
