West Coast-Tasman to get new local representative

West Coast-Tasman will get a new MP, the area's representative in Parliament, at the November election, RNZ reports. National's Maureen Pugh is retiring. Labour's Damien O'Connor, an MP for 33 years, will not stand there. He held the seat since it started in 1996, except wins by National's Chris Auchinvole and Pugh.
