Rare Tornado Struck Populated Ulladulla, NSW

A rare tornado hit Ulladulla on New South Wales' south coast just after 1pm on 3 October. Australia's Bureau of Meteorology — the national weather agency — said severe thunderstorms produced the twister, noting such events are very uncommon in populated areas. The tornado damaged properties and knocked over trees.
