Five accused of overpowering Elbit guards in Filton factory raid

Prosecutors say five defendants in a 'black team' overpowered guards in the 6 August 2024 raid on Elbit's Filton factory. Deanna Heer KC told Woolwich Crown Court they allegedly threw fireworks and held whips, hammers and large kebab skewers. Guard Nigel Shaw suffered a 4cm head cut. All deny criminal damage and violent disorder, meaning property damage and group violence.
