Five accused of attacking Elbit guards with whips, fireworks in Filton raid

Prosecutors allege five defendants in a "black team" overwhelmed guards in the 6 August 2024 raid on Elbit's Filton factory. Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC told Woolwich Crown Court they allegedly threw fireworks and brandished whips, hammers and large kebab skewers. The court was told guard Nigel Shaw suffered a 4cm head laceration. All deny criminal damage and violent disorder.
