Tesco Offers Paid Safe Leave for Staff Facing Domestic Abuse

Tesco offers up to three days of paid safe leave to its 300,000 UK staff facing domestic abuse. As the UK's largest private-sector employer, it is the first supermarket to do so. Staff can use it for court hearings, emergency housing and childcare without providing formal proof. The policy was built with union Usdaw and includes manager training on referrals.
