Tesco Gives Paid Time Off to Workers Facing Abuse at Home

Tesco is giving its 300,000 UK workers up to three days paid leave for abuse at home. The UK's biggest private employer, it is the first supermarket to do so. The time can cover court dates, emergency housing and childcare, with no proof needed. It was made with workers' group Usdaw, including training for managers on where to get help.
