Juergen Boos to retire as Frankfurt Book Fair chief after 21 years

Juergen Boos will retire as President and CEO of the Frankfurt Book Fair at the end of October 2026 after 21 years. He joined in 2005. His career spans more than 40 years. The 7-11 October fair will be his last. Joachim Kaufmann was announced in early 2026 as successor. Boos said he will attend Guadalajara Book Fair in December.
