Family Sues U.S. Over Fatal ICE Shooting in Minneapolis

Becca Good and Brent Ganger have sued the United States over the Jan. 7 shooting death of Renee Good, 37, by an ICE immigration officer in Minneapolis. Filed under the Federal Tort Claims Act, which allows citizens to sue the federal government, the suit claims battery, assault, false imprisonment and negligence during Operation Metro Surge, an immigration enforcement sweep.
